It is a hard and often thankless job that takes a great personal toll (and things are getting harder).

Our Fire, Forces, NHS and Police discounts is our way of giving back. We know that our products will be helpful for those who are on active duty, or retired. Whether it is an extra boost in energy you need, or to bring your body back to fighting fitness, we know can help.

As a final point, we know that form any police, fire and armed forces personnel (specifically), there is an unspoken mental health crisis. PTSD, anxiety and depression is often hidden due to a willingness to just get on with the job.

FAQ

The answer to this question changes all the time, and it seems that there is no right answer.

CBD lives in a grey area at the moment, where many institutions (such as some of the  rugby clubs we’re working with) are wary of CBD.

The biggest challenge is the spot testing for drugs and controlled substances. A failure here could result in termination of employment or severe consequences. What this routine test is looking for is THC, the banned phycoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis. This is very different from CBD which is non-phycoactive and legal in the UK. There comes an issue where some product contain trace levels of THC.

We have specifically developed a range of CBD products that is THC FREE* for the purpose of people who are regularly tested.

We’ve worked with professional sports people who take CBD products regularly, and are tested for banned substances regularly. We have been selling CBD to Police and Prison officers who also are subject to the same tests.

In all the years we have never seen anybody fail.

If you are in the forces and you’d like to see whether you can take CBD, it it best to speak first to your Medical Officer and test the water.

In theory, the answer is yes -UK police officers are allowed to consume CBD. However, as. Police officer you should be aware of the THC content of the product, and be vary wary about where you source your CBD from.

A spot drug test is looking for the banned substance (THC) and some CBD product do contain a trace amount of THC.

It is best to take a product where the THC has been completely removed or one that is lab tested.

All of our products are tested in a lab and comply with the FSA’s 1mg THC rule, meaning that that amount of THC in even our stronged CBD product should not show up on a drug test.

If in doubt – check out our post about the subject!
